Private Label Lubricants

Private label Lubricants are typically those manufactured or provided by one company for offer under another company’s brand.  We can provide all of the following: Custom Packaging, Private Label Greases, Private Label Lubricants.

Private vs Branded

Knowing that the base fluid quality is essentially the same for both private label and branded fluids, the biggest difference between the two revolves around their performance capabilities. With branded fluids, these often contain standard additive packages, as they don’t want their fluids to become so specialized that they don’t work with a variety of applications. That’s not to say branded fluids are lower quality; they just tend to use additives that benefit a wide variety of machines and operating environments, and that may or may not meet your machinery’s requirements.

On the other hand, sometimes your equipment requires a niche fluid with unique additives and performance requirements. This difference in performance is most notable when comparing metalworking fluids, as most major brands don’t dedicate as much research, time, or energy into this area as private label suppliers do, simply due to the scope of the market.

The Label Goes Beyond Lubricants

Private label goods and services are available in a wide range of industries from food to cosmetics, to web hosting. They are often positioned as lower cost alternatives to regional, national or international brands. Although some private label brands have been positioned as “premium” brands to compete with existing “name” brands.

Over Lubricating

You know how the saying goes. Everything is better in moderation. This is also including lubrication for your bearings and other machines. While one may believe that there’s no such thing as over lubricating. If you use too much grease it can lead to serious problem with your machinery. This can include grease churn, overheating, damage to the electric motor, and even seal damage. Thankfully over-lubricating is one thing that is very easy to avoid, if you know what to do and take the time to do things right everything will be okay.
